PEDRO RODRIGUEZ AND OUSMANE DEMBELE -- 5 THINGS THAT THEY HAVE IN COMMON: WHO IS MORE AMBIDEXTROUS?

Pedro Rodriguez and Ousmane Dembele, two notable forwards who are ambidextrous.

Who is more ambidextrous?

What I mean, by ambidextrous, is that they can use both feet effectively.

While most players usually have a stronger foot (maybe left footed or right footed), Ousmane Dembele and Pedro Rodriguez are strong two footed players.

They can shoot, dribble, push the ball, tackle hard with either foot. A feat that not all players in the game can pull.

Not even the present GOATs can pull this feat.

Lionel Messi’s strong foot is his left foot, and Christiano Ronaldo’s is his right foot.

This comes with a disadvantage because defenders can often predict where they will dribble to, shoot the ball from, push the ball with etc.

However, with ambidextrous players, this prediction can not work. With Ousmane Dembele, for example, defenders and goalkeepers are often dazed and confused about his next move.

Likewise Pedro, he is unpredictable.

Pedro might want to take a shot with his left (then suddenly change his mind), faint the defender and cut the ball to his right, and then (KABOOM) shoots the ball home.

The game of football has been blessed with only a handful of players who can use both feet accurately.

Two footed players are rare. Examples of ambidextrous players that FIFA and fans have been blessed with are Nedved, Philip Lahm, Ter Stegen etc. They are like the eclipse of the sun in the manners in which they appear.

These players:  Pedro Rodriguez and Ousmane Dembele are Europeans. Also, they play in the same positions too. They can play as a RWF (Right Wing Forward) and as a LWF(Left wing forward).

Dembele is 10 years younger than Pedro; which makes him faster than Pedro at the moment.

Actually, Dembele is blessed with a blazing speed. On his good day, Dembele leaves his defenders catching their breaths instead of catching up with him. Tottenham Hotspur’s defender, Kyle-Walker Peters, can testify to this.

Amazing facts about them:

1. They are both World cup winners.

2. They both have a connection with FC Barcelona.

3. Dembele plays for Barcelona, while Pedro came from Barcelona’s La Masia.

4. They wear the same jersey number (11).

5. Unlike Pedro, Dembele is (now) prone to hamstring injury.

But, who is more ambidextrous among them?

A Critical Analysis of "A Sandal on the Head" by Kwesi Brew

A SANDAL ON THE HEAD (Analysis) This poem has the lyrical characteristics of African orality. It is not written in the regular English poet’s literal form of writing. Kwesi Brew employed the use of proverbs and African adage to paint the poem with beautiful and colourful imagery. The features are metaphors embedded with African proverbs. Examples of these imagery are evident in: The broken cannot be made whole! The strong had sheltered in their strength The swift had sought life in their speed, The crippled and the tired heaped out of the way These statements are more than witty statements. Moreover, what this excerpt also mean is that things are seemingly not going the proper way. Perhaps the economy or political structure is defunct. The broken cannot be made whole will mean that things have been destroyed beyond reparation. That things have totally fallen apart. As a result of this hardship, only the strong, favoured, fortunate and opportune are able to endur

Word Formation and Advertisements

Words are added to the English dictionary constantly, everyday, due to writers giving themselves freedom to capture their thoughts; thus, they take liberty in creating new words. This is due to the fact that the English language is the most spoken language in the world. As a common language used among humans, therefore it calls for users to make words to convey or reveal their meaning so as to express themselves evenly. Human beings do not live in the objective world alone, nor alone in the world of social activity as ordinarily understood, but are very much at the mercy of the particular language which has become the medium of expression for their society  (as cited in Salzmann, 1993, p. 153). Thus, one can sense the importance why new words need to be created. This attitude easily gives English the advantage to have more lexicons than some other languages. There are four different levels of linguistics, and these levels are: phonology, morphology, syntax, and semantics. The branch
